Low evaporator temperature trips
Resolution:
Check the following:
- Low refrigerant charge
- Properly functioning EXV
- Liquid level sensor
- Pressure transducers for accuracy
- Adequate head pressure control
- Low evaporator chilled water flow rate
- Rapidly varying water flow rates
- Rapidly varying system load
- Oil overcharge (will show signs of low refrigerant charge except there will be a low discharge superheat)
