Issue:
Phase reversal diagnostic
Resolution:
- If Phase Reversal protection is active; the controls will not let the compressor attempt to spin the rotors.
- If you hear the compressor actually starting, the real problem is likely to be Phase Loss.
- However, the Phase Rotation circuitry is responsible for Phase Loss prior to the starter transition. I suspect the real diagnostic is Phase Loss which is being called out by the Phase Reversal Protection circuitry prior to transition.
See RLC-SVB15A-EN for reference and cause resolution.

Other Question/Problem/Cause Statements:
- Phase reversal diagnostic
- Phase Loss diagnostic
Facts:
- Chiller is attempting to start. The chiller is turning over; the rotors are spinning.
- Diagnostic prior to transition; but after compressor rotors are spinning.
