Diagnostic: Transition Complete Input Shorted
Source: Starter
Active Period: Starting Compressor
Severity: Immediate Shutdown
Persistence: Latching
Description of Trigger Behavior: The Transition Complete input was found to be shorted before the compressor was started.
Troubleshooting Guide:
- This diagnostic is active for all electromechanical starters.
- Verify the Opto Input J4-2 does not have 120VAC on it prior to start.
- Verify the AUX contacts that supply the 120VAC to to J4-2 are not faulty.
- Verify the Opto Input J4-1 Neutral in correct and electrically connected.
