Issue:
Starter did not transition
Resolution:
RTHB
- Check the voltage on the 2U1 Starter Module, J4-2.
- It is possible that the 2K2 Auxiliary contactor is leaking current (not fully open) and is energizing the opto input in the module.
- There should be zero voltage at J4-2 when the Run contactor is de-energized.
- If there is a voltage present, disconnect the input voltage to auxiliary contactor and check for voltage again.
- If the measured voltage is zero with the contactor disconnected, replace the contactor.
Other Question/Problem/Cause Statements:
- The Transition complete input was found to be shorted before the compressor was started
