Issue:
Can the chiller display phase loss and phase reversal diagnostics?
Resolution:
- CG-EB-82 states that these diagnostics will be available when the Current Sensing Module is installed. THIS IS INCORRECT.
- Although this was the intent of the design when the Engineering Bulletin was written, this was never included in the final design.
- In order to detect phase loss or phase reversal, an external phase monitor must be installed and wired to the emergency stop inputs on the chiller (1TB4-16 and 1TB4-17)
Other Question/Problem/Cause Statements:
- Can the chiller display phase loss and phase reversal diagnostics?
- Will the Current Sensing Module allow Phase Loss and Phase Reversal diagnostics to be reported?
- How is Phase loss or Phase reversal detected?
- How is Phase loss or Phase reversal reported?
- What is required to detect and report phase loss or phase reversal?
Facts:
- Air-Cooled Chiller - Intellipak (CGAC, CGAF)
