Issue:
One circuit is more noisy than the other circuit
Resolution:
- Verify the oil and refrigerant charges are correct.
- Refer to the RTAC Subcooling curves and verify correct refrigerant charge.
- To check the oil level properly, run the suspect circuit at minimum load for at least 45 minutes.
- This could be done by disconnecting the female step load and male load solenoid wires from their respective module.
- After running at minimum load, shut the circuit down and wait 30 minutes prior to checking the oil level.
- Refer to the table below for correct oil levels. NOTE: Too much oil (30-40% overcharge) may cause carryover problems, therefore, be careful not to overcharge with too much oil.
