Scenario: A Trane unit was sold without a licensed feature. An upgrade (Advance License) has been purchased, and the license serial number is available.
Follow these steps to register the Advance License to a Symbio 700 controller and download the license file:
- Log in to Salesforce portal

In Home page search, enter the Symbio 700 serial number and press ENTER.
Note: You can also search Asset using equipment serial number, sales order number, or job name.
- From the search results, open the Asset by clicking on Asset Name
- Verify controller serial number and equipment serial number on the Asset.
- Click on [View License] button, verify that no associated licenses are listed. Click [Close]

Click on [Add License] button
- In Add License dialog, enter the license serial number from the email and press ENTER

Select the license entitlement, click [Assign] button and then Click [Done]

Click on [View License] button, verify that assigned License entitlement is listed
- Click [Generate License File] button
- Generated license file (*.lic) is listed at the top under 'License Files', click on 'Donwloads' link next to the license file
