When using a Symbio condenser with a UC/Symbio 400B equipped Blower/Fan Coil unit, the 400B in the indoor unit becomes the system controller. In applications like this, the 400B is controlling the condenser through thermostat operation and fan, electric heat and any other system control will rely on the 400B. The 400B provides 24vac on J17-4 and the outputs for the compressors and reversing valve are switched grounds.
Note: Resistores 1R1 and 1R2 must be removed prior to wiring the condenser wiring to 1TB5
Single or Dual Stage TTA (Cooling Only)
Single Stage TWA (Heat Pump)
Dual Stage TWA (Heat Pump)
Be aware that if using test mode on the Symbio controller, that the indoor fan must be running prior to starting test mode.
