Many of Trane's programmable controllers use wet or 24vac powered outputs. When pairing one of these controllers with a Symbio700 controller utilizing conventional thermostat control, it is necessary to install pilot relays between the BO of the programmable controller and the thermostat input of the Symbio700. Below are wiring diagrams for UC600/XM70/XM90 and MP581/EX2 (MP581 shown, MP580 is the same, but the termination board is different. Unit may use AHU terminal block or spade connectors on MP580 termination board). Not shown is wiring for UPCM, but is the same situation.
**For wiring to a UC400, XM32, or PCM go to Interconnecting Wiring for Symbio Condenser (Cooling or Heat Pump) to UC400
**For wiring to FCU/BC unit with CTSI (also uses wet outputs) go to: Interconnecting Wiring for Symbio Condenser (Single Stage Cooling) to Blower/Fan Coil Unit w/ CTSI Board
Programming notes:
- Symbio700 does not enforce a minimum time between compressors when staging. It is recommended that a 3 min time delay be added to the program between stages.
- Symbio700 does enforce a 3 min minimum off and 3 min minimum run.
- Reversing valve is energized in cooling

Be aware that if using test mode on the Symbio controller, that the indoor fan must be running prior to starting test mode.
