Issue:
What are the alarms for nvoAlarmMessage on LCI-I
Resolution:
Refer to the attached LCI Installation and Troubleshooting Manual (BAS-SVP02D-EN) pages 39 through 45. The diagnostics are numerically encoded and present as ASCII text message.
If another vendor's front end is not getting all of the data or it's presented as numbers instead of letter, it's up to the other vendor to figure out how to read the data.
For CV SCC units, the message is transmitted through nvoAlarmMessage. There is a binary output on the RTM board which can be triggered by specific diagnostics. The specific diagnostic must be configured on the HIM. specific diagnostics
The SC+/BCU do not support a BACnet object for communicating nvoAlarmMessage. (nvoAlarmMessage uses SNVT_str_asc—an ASCII text string.) The best you can do is a binary point for Alarm Present.
If there is more than one alarm present, when one clears, the other is not reported again and Normal is not reported until all alarms have cleared. So you may see an alarm message in nvoAlarmMessage that is no longer valid.
