- BCI-R points need to be configured very specifically for BAS control

You will need to control the "Active Value" and "Out of Service" BACnet properties with one of the following tools
- Tracer TU

Trane BACnet Setup Tool - BACnet Setup Tool - Setup UC/BCI for Integration into BAS
- BACnet Building Automation System / Front End
- Note: there are a minimum set of points required (section "1") and some optional applications specific settings (section "2")
- Unit should operate correctly in ReliaTel Test Mode before beginning
Process
1. Configure necessary/relevant BCI-R / BCI2-R Points for System / BAS Control (required for any BAS control)

NOTE: BCI output and value points must be "In Service" (BACnet "Out of Service" property = FALSE), to be used by the Reliatel Controller and controlled by the Automation System
- If a BCI- Output point is "Out of Service" that means that point is using its local sensors/internal logic (and ignoring any commands from the Automation System)

Do not place any input points out of service (or override their active value), they are required for status from the Reliatel boards and are read only.
1a. MANDATORY Point Settings for System / BAS control
You will be configuring the 1. "Out of Service" and 2. "Present Value" BACnet properties for the following points to get the unit running with a building automation system. The majority of the points below are created "Out of Service"; (aka Out of Service = ACTIVE/TRUE). You will need to make them "In Service" (aka Out of Service = INACTIVE / FALSE).
Note: TD5 operator display must be set to "Read" mode: LCU-BCI-R-TD5-Settings-for-RTU-BAS-Control

Upon completion of above steps, if done correctly, BI/1 Present Value = ACTIVE ("BAS Control") This point is not writeable and should always be In Service. Do not proceed with anything until BI/1 is in service and active value is Active / "BAS Control" |
2. Optional System Control Settings and Troubleshooting
Fan & Duct Static Pressure Control
If an RTAM board is present, unit will control to duct static when occupied and BO/8 will be ignored
Otherwise, when in service, BO/8 dictates your occupied fan operation.
