BCI-R / BCI2-R Reliatel RTU with WCS Air-Fi zone sensor will not bring on cooling
Summary:
There could be several reasons why the BCI-R RTU with WCS Air-FI zone sensor is not bringing on cooling. here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try
Issue:
- BCI-R SZVAV with wireless communications will not bring on cooling
- BCI-R SZVAV receiving a communicated space temp BAS will not bring on cooling.
- E-Flex will not bring on cooling
- BCI-R Space Comfort Control (SCC) RTU with wireless communications will not bring on cooling
- BCI-R with Air-FI WCS zone sensor Space Temperature local -40°, stuck in Heat mode
Problem:
BCI-R Space Comfort Control (SCC) with Air-FI WCS has no problem heating or economizing but has problems with mechanical cooling.
Corrective action:
Install a sensor in the return air of the RTU and wire it into RTRM J6, 1-2 terminals.
Could also add a jumper to RTRM J6, 1-2 tells the RTRM the space temp will be communicated.
