Most jobs modified by Trane Creative Solutions (TCS) will ship with a supplementary drawing and Installation, Operation and Maintenance manual. The documentation provided will vary depending on the modification supplied to the customer (i.e: a unit may not include additional IOM or drawing if just the supply fan was changed out by TCS).
IOMs are typically located in a clear, plastic bag located in the unit electric panel. This packet may include a loose leaf copy of drawing(s) that pertain to the modification.
As-Built control and electrical drawings are located within close proximity of the standard drawings supplied with the equipment. These may be found in a booklet or individual form.
Additional copies of the IOM or As-Built drawings may be obtained one of two ways:
1. For unit shipments after August 1, 2017, product literature is available in Model Number Lookup. Please allow one week after unit shipment for documents to be available. The link below provides more information on how to obtain copies of the literature from Model Number Lookup.

2. For orders that ship prior to August 1, 2016, please contact TCS support by phone at 844-99Trane (87263), option 1, Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm EST or email CSTTechSupport@Trane.com.
Please have the following information available prior to contacting TCS:
a. Special Unit label Job Number. When a unit is modified by TCS, two 4 x 6 supplementary labels are added to the equipment and list important information about the modification. One is placed on the outside of the unit in close proximity to the original equipment standard model/serial nameplate tag. The second label may be located on the inside of an electric panel near the standard unit drawings. The job number starts with CST and is located towards the top of the label. A label has been attached to this discussion to serve as an example.
b. Unit serial number. (Note:The same unit serial number is used by TCS, as the one assigned by the original Trane factory.)
