Issue: Clear Language Display (CLD) not working.
Resolution:
ALL Clear Language Displays on RTAA, RTWA, RTUA, RTHB, RTHC, CTV & CentraVac chillers with Adaptive Controls 1.5 or UCP2 controls.
To enter the CLD Demo mode:
- Disconnect the IPC communication link from the CLD
- Remove power from the CLD
- Press the ' Custom Report ' and ' Compressor Report ' buttons simultaneously (at the same time) while the display is powering up. (Note: The CLD will not enter the demo mode if these keys are pressed after power is applied.)
- Demo mode will allow you to go through ALL menu items in the CLD without effecting the chiller controls.
- To EXIT Demo mode: If the CLD hears from the Chiller module, it will exit the demo mode; to exit Demo Mode simply reconnect the IPC link or power down and reconnect the IPC link (then reapply power).
To enter the CLD Test mode:
- Disconnect the IPC communication link from the CLD
- Remove power from the CLD
- Press the ' Next ' and ' + ' buttons simultaneously (at the same time) while the display is powering up. (Note: The CLD will not enter the Test mode if these keys are pressed after power is applied.)

Follow instructions on the CLD 2-line display by pressing ' Next ', ' - ', ' Cancel ', and ' Stop ' to advance to the desired test:
- ' Next ' >>> Execute
- ' - ' >>> Skip
- ' Cancel ' >>> Exit
- ' Stop ' >>> [ intentionally left blank ]
- Test mode allows a lower level test of each key and CLD 2-line LCD segment and pixels.
- To EXIT Test mode: If the CLD hears from the Chiller module, it will exit the Test mode; to exit Test Mode simply reconnect the IPC link or power down and reconnect the IPC link (then reapply power).
