Resolution:

RTAA, RTWA, RTUA, RTHB/C/D, RTWD, RTUD, CGAM Chillers:

Pump Control Requirements.

• RTAA, RTWA, RTUA Chillers:
  • • These chillers have the ability to start and stop the chilled water pump, but it is not required

• RTHB, RTHC, RTWD, RTHD Chillers:
  • • These chillers have the ability to start and stop the chilled water pump, but it is not required

• CGAM Chillers:
  • These chillers have the ability to start and stop the chilled water pump, but it is not required.
  • Units with factory installed pump package require pump control. 

• RTAC Chillers:
  • These chillers have the ability to start and stop the chilled water pump, but it is not required.
  • Pump Control Requirements

• RTUD Chillers:
  • These chillers have the ability to start and stop the chilled water pump
  •  Is pump control mandatory for the RTUD chiller?

RTAA, RTWA, RTUA, RTHB/C/D, RTWD, RTAC, CGAM Chillers:

Flow Proving

• RTAA, RTWA, RTUA Chillers:
  • Proof of Flow is required for all Pueblo built chillers; however flow switches are not required on for RTAA, RTWA, RTUA Chillers.
• RTHB, RTHC, RTHD, RTWD (when the factory installed flow switch is NOT selected) Chillers:
  • Two forms of flow proving are REQUIRED.
  • AUX Contacts off of the Pump Starter AND a Flow Proving Device (Paddle Flow Switch, DP Switch, Flow Proving Contact from BAS System, etc.,..)
  • The two forms of flow proving are wired in Series configuration.
