Issue:
How can I disable the 2nd compressor on each circuit?
Resolution:
CGWD, CGWE, CCAD, CCAE, CGAD, CGAE Chillers: Cyclone Control
There is an input on the 1U1A1 which is called the Compressor Inhibit/KW Limit. This input is designed to accept an optional, field installed, isolated set of contacts to be used for compressor inhibit. The unit ships from the factory with a jumper installed between these terminals (TB1-1 and TB1-2). In the jumpered state, or when the attached contacts are closed, the UCM will operate the compressor under its normal algorithm. When this input is open, the UCM prevents the second compressor of each circuit from starting, or it will shut down the second compressor of each circuit, if running.
NOTE: This CAN NOT be used to disable the first compressor on a given circuit.
