How do I bind a LLID?
Resolution:
CH530 Controls
- Connect to chiller using Techview
- Once connected with the appropriate Service tool select Binding View.
- Once in Binding View, search for the device(s) that need to be bound.

Select Bind for the device desired.
- The question: Is the Desired Device Alone Selected? will display on the screen.
- Place a South Pole Magnet on the desired LLID, at the Dimple (Frame Mounted LLID) or White Arrow (Panel Mounted LLID) to select that LLID. A GREEN LED will light.
- Press "Yes" to the question "Is the Desired Device Alone Selected?" .
- Device Status should change from RED (unbound) to GREEN (bound).
UC800/Symbio Controls
- Connect to chiller using Tracer TU
- Once connected with the appropriate Service tool select Binding View.
- Once in Binding View, search for the device(s) that need to be bound.

Select Bind for the device desired.
- A popup showing Activate LLID using magnet and click OK will display on the screen.
- Place a South Pole Magnet on the desired LLID, at the Dimple (Frame Mounted LLID) or White Arrow (Panel Mounted LLID) to select that LLID. A GREEN LED will light.
- Press "Yes" to the question "Is the Desired Device Alone Selected?" .
- Device Status should change from RED (unbound) to GREEN (bound).
