Issue:
What do I need to do to add the 1U2 options module to this chiller?
Resolution:
RTAA, RTWA, RTUA chillers:
- Every RTAA 70-125 unit manufactured in the factory was designed and built with the expectation that the 1U2 Options Module will be installed.
- In cases where the chiller was ordered without the 1U2 module, the power cable (P26) and IPC Communication Cable (P21) will still be included.
- Therefore, it will only be necessary to add the module and connect the cables accordingly.
- For detailed instructions on the location of the connections, please refer to pages 155 (lines 173 & 174) and 157 (lines 233 and 234) of the Installation Operation Manual.
- This module allows for the following features to be utilized:
- External Chilled Water Setpoint
- External Current Limit Setpoint
- Ice Making
- Chilled Water Reset
