Issue:
Configuration Not Valid after replacing the Dynaview CH530 Controller
Resolution:
RTAC Chiller:
- After a DynaView replacement or TechView upgrade, there is a possibility that the chiller may have a newer version of MP software that is not recognized by an older version of TechView.
- Once connected to the Dynaview with TechView, a message indicating "Configuration Not Valid" may appear if incompatible or mismatched software is present on either your laptop or on the Dynaview.
- It is also possible there is NO configuration on the DynaView and will need to be configured
- The resolution is to install the highest available version of RTA MP Firmware currently stored on your laptop. This will at least allow communication between chiller and laptop.
- It is always best practice to update your laptop with the latest release of TechView and with that you'll have the latest MP versions as well.
- Since there have been numerous improvements in chiller control since the first RTAC, some model number positions have been expanded to accommodate the newest Building automation protocols currently in use today. Some model number positions have digits that did not exist in past versions
